Plug Ulo to its USB cable to make sure the owl is powered
Make sure your connection works properly and Ulo is placed within range of your Wi-Fi router
Turn Ulo upside-down to reconfigure your Wi-Fi
Turn Ulo right side up to use it again
Ulo is compatible with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) networks that are encrypted with WEP/WPA/WPA2.
Please enable UPnP in your router
Open ULO App
Choose “Direct Access”
Choose your ULO and click on it
Login to your account
Place ULO upside-down to access the settings
Click on “ACCESS FROM EVERYWHERE”
Check "automatic" and wait
If the problem persists :
Select manual configuration
For manual configuration:
First you need to know your external IP (example: Google -> “what's my IP”)
Got to your Ulo Settings -> Access from Everywhere -> Select Manual
Provide your external IP to Ulo
Go to your Wi-Fi router administration page
Provide a static IP to your Ulo MAC address
Got to Port forwarding
Create port forwarding for ports displayed on your Ulo “Access from Everywhere”
Depending on your Internet service provider, your external IP may change frequently. You’ll have to update your external IP address in your Ulo settings.
